Hey guys I just got an estimate for bodywork on my WRX. Somebody pulled a hit & run while it was parked, no way to track the s.o.b. down. Anyway, the estimate was $3600 and my Insurance co. says that unless I bring it to one of the shops in their network, they have only 1 in san francisco, I'll have to pay 20% of the total plus my $500 deductable. Thats a total of $1220 out of my pocket for an accident that wasnt my fault. Anyway, I thought Ins. companies werent allowed to do that? I'd take it to the shop they reffered me to but I want the work done at the dealer, the shop they want me to go to is really ghetto and I'm afraid of getting shoddy work done. Please anybody out there who has any thoughts at all on this please reply, I would appreciate any help on this at all. By the way, my Inc co. is Arrowhead and I got them through Eastwood. Thanks for your time. I'm going out and getting drunk tonight, at least this time I have an excuse.:mad:

Bring it to the dealer and have them do an estimate,may be they will find
damage that the ins.co didn't see and may be able to save you at least your deductable.
