I am not shipping, here is the deal:
I sold my 2003 WRX, but before I sold it I put a new engine in it, some of you may recall helping me with advice, etc.
Anyway, I have the 2003 Engine (minus turbos) that I removed from my Subie.
I think that it spun a bearing, but I really don't know as I haven't opened up the motor.
When it started making loud noise I parked it and put a new engine in it, the engine I purchased was used and came without turbos, that is why there are no turbos with this engine.
It comes complete with Power Steering pump, alternator, Air Conditioning Pump, intercooler, various heat shields and belts. I have pictures of the parts.
EDIT: this is the correct subie starter, it is included.
Local pick up only in Silverdale, WA.
Make me some PM offers as I have no idea what this is worth and will sell it to the highest offer, or put it on eBay or something...
No longer have a WRX and dont need this, you get all my spare WRX parts that I can find laying around my shop.

i dont know, i was going to offer but not knowning whats wrong with it isn't helping the price.

I haven't taken it apart, but I was sure enough that it was rod knock from a spun bearing (per opinions from the forums) that I didn't even bother to take it apart and look, I just removed it and put another one in. My first ever engine swap in any car, surprisinly easy... and I did it alone (my wife helped me wiggle the new one onto the tranny).

Nope no ECU, that stayed in the Subie (along with the UTEC).
It only had about 30k miles on it.
Has all the harnesses... with a caveat, the guy that sent me the engine cut one of the engine plugs off, so I cut off this one to use on the subie.
So you will need to get a plug for one of the harnesses.
Already been offered $900. Still fishing for higher offers. I was going to hold out for $1200, but I want it out of my shop, so first $1000 offer takes it....

nevermind. I thought it was runing engine. I need Camgears, covers and valves so if you are parting out. I would be willing to buy some parts.

You have heads?

on another hand. If the Valves and heads are good. I will take it. Can you let me know.

It is a complete engine with the parts described.... all of it is there, I know it's broken but don't have time to tear it apart or fix it, and I want it out of my shop. So, yes, the heads are included, it is all there, even the intercooler...
Let me know if you want it, probably can get some time early next week if you want to come pick it up.
