I couldn’t decide where the best place to put this post would be, so I hope this forum is ok.

Currently I have an 04 sti. Mods are:

Helix catted dp
Invidia G200 Exhaust
K&N Typhoon Intake
COBB AP Stage 2 map

I am considering a protune, but before I do it I want to make sure I get all the necessary mods so I dont end up having to get retuned 1 month later down the road.

Two extra mods I am considering are the Alky kit (which I do have to read up on more) and 1 step colder plugs. I know that colder plugs can cause a problem in the winter with startup, so for this reason I would revert back to an off the shelf Cobb stage 2 map from December - March.

Regardless, are there any other mods I should consider getting before my tune to take full advantage of it? I am not currently interested in a new turbos.

Does anyone see any problems with my current plans? Do you think I need a new fuel pump or any other accessories like that?

PS: Anyone have a guess as to what kind of power I can expect from this setup on a dynapack?

If no shot of nitrous then I'd say get it tuned unless you know you're going to get the itch for a turbo.

One other thing that looks intesting is those gains for the perrin header testing.

i ran a stage 2 on my car and it was rich as could be just with a short ram, it made the map useless. with that intake, its like the big MAF, the voltage vs airflow is way too much for a stage 2 to hold. if u wanna hold off on a tune, id say ditch the intake for now. if u really have a hard-on for it, get the street tuner and do the tuning yourself.
