Just wondering, for a daily driver type, what kind of mileage are guys getting on their stock tires before replacement? Thanks fellas

sti or wrx? My RE92s did not last more that a few thousand due to the fact that they sucked and I got rid of them.

Anywhere from 1,000 miles to 20,000. Depends how you drive on them and what your alignment settings are.

Ok I'll be more specific, lol. I drive an hour to work everyday and back home 1 hour. I would say traffic is at a medium level. Stock alignment. I'm a oppurtunist driver, if I see a sweet line, I usually take it pretty fast. Other than that I don't offroad or race. I'm waiting for more supporting mods before I think she's track ready.

Go get a proper alignment - the tires will last longer.

Max camber up front - zero toe all round.

Except you're talking about RE92's, not RE070's.

Haha, that's about right. Got rid of those once I left CO in my WRX.

Have about 24k miles now on my 070's and they'll last me through the summer probably.

I also got about 25K on my RE070's.

I put 16k on my Re070's. That was with one autocross, 19 runs down the strip, and a 52 mile daily commute on a lousy PA rural highway,

22k miles and still counting(but about to reach its limit). That's on factory allignment :rolleyes: and crappy bay area roads. No autox/track/strip with these tires.

LOL!!! So far they look pretty good. I got 14,000 miles on then right now and I bought my 06 in September. People told me not to drive them in the Colorado winter but I wanted to see why they told me that. Actually, they did surprisively well. We didn't have they greatest snow in the front range but I went out to test them at higher speeds. It was a good time to test out the DCCD.

After I hydroplaned a few times [turning into corners and having the front end plow straight ahead for a few feet as if on snow], they did not last as long as most...6k miles and I gave the bitches away to a friend with an auto shop to be nice guy to someone needing 205/55-16's! Replaced stockers for winter with 225/50 Pirelli PZero Nero M&S and they may not turn in as well as my 225/45-17 Fuzion ZRi's on Kosei K-1 TS rims but on an exit ramp they hold as well at the sliding point...even in the colder temperatures...and if you want you can go 80 mph in a downpour and laugh...they channel water like a firehose!

I am optimistic that the 70s will last 30k miles, hopefully I get there.

12k on an RS and I burned them till they were bald.....

I got my RE070's to 33,000 and change, this is with the 35R kit on too. Of course cords where showing when I got them replaced :O
