hey guys, just bought the exedy stage 1 clutch for my wrx. i have a t05-16g runing 19.5 psi and 10 psi with my duel boost controller from turboxs. do you think the exedy stage 1 was a good idea, i mean i want something that wilol last me a while and isnt that hard on the tranny like the act clutch.

You should be fine with it. I just bought one also, when I swapped my WRX motor for a JDM EJ20X, but the car is haveing driveability issues so I couldn't tell you how rough/smooth it is.

I think you should research FIRST and then buy SECOND. An ACT clutch is 100% fine for your car, so choosing Exedy over ACT is a lousy choice for the reason you stated. I believe someone spent like 50 hours researching clutches and made a post about them that was stickied at the top of this forum.

o ok, thanx alot for the info but i heard act clutchs doesnt last as long as exedy clutchs
