let me start by saying i have searched and searched and found that i should have no problem fitting 235/40/17x7.5 on my 2005 wrx sedan. but i would like to make sure i will have no problem with the remarks of some people running the same set-up. I got the wedssport tc-005 with bf-goodrich kdw2. i havent lowered the car but i do have sway bars and an ALK. BY LOOKING AT HTE WHEEL WELL IT LOOKS LIKE IT WILL BE TOO SMALL. I know i am being paranoid, but i just neede to hear that it will be fine. Thanks in advance for reading and replying if you do.

you are being way paranoid. as long as the offset is correct you will be fine. im running 235x45x17 on my 17x7.5 et48 rims. my car is lowered. just do it youll love the extra rubber

Even if the offset was wrong you would likely not rub. Those are pretty narrow tires to be worried about rubbing at all.
