ok, so heres a quick rundown of my problem, (it may have been mention before but i looked and couldn't find my exact problem). I was replacing my front springs and completed the job easily, however, a week or so later i so grease on my front wheel, i found out that i must haave punctured the cv boot when relacing the spring. I had no problem going to the dealership and ordering up all the parts i needed to fix the problem. however, when i got the boot home i found out that it was too small, it seemed as though it was made for the other end of the drive shaft towards the diff. i went back to subaru and they said that that was the right boot, the one closest to the wheel (outer boot) it was clear though that this was not the right boot. i went ahead a had them order the other boot just to see if that will be the right one.
has anyone else had this issue. i have read others that punctured the cv boot but didn't see any issues with replacing it.
Sorry this was so long but any info on it would be great.
the part number that i have and that they say is right is 28023pa050, but it is not the one i need.
