Hi all, this is my first post here. I drive a white 05 Legacy GT (MT, stock except for springs) and usually post on legacygt forums as deimos.
Today I pulled onto the QEW W towards Hamilton from Walker's Line, around 6:45pm. While merging I noticed what looked from the front like an 05ish 2.5RS, due to the lack of hoodscoop, black maybe dark blue paint. I moved into the left lane and pretty much stayed there until close to hamilton.
At one point I pulled from the left into the middle lane to pass a slow driver and as I did I noticed that blackish impreza doing the same thing from the middle to the right lane, which I thought was strange given the fact that it was a "simple RS".
Noticing the impreza and enjoying my drive I kept accelerating and when I let off at a high speed, I was shocked to see the impreza only 4-8? lengths behind (*this was not a race and I have no idea when the impreza started accelerating or let off*) when I expected a speck in my rear view.
We both slowed down and got off at the same exit, Main St E. I followed for awhile finally noticing that it was a 03-05 style debadged WRX with an RS hood and I assume a FM as well as 7-9? spoke aftermarket silverish 17"s. I was going to try to speak to you but never got a chance in traffic.
Anyways it was fun and unexpected, and if the person is on here, nice stealth job on the WRX :)
