Good news for the 5spd people out there; the TIC exclusive 5spd pivot bushings are now available!!!!

This is a product that 5spd owners have dreamed about for many years. These bushings and sleeve replace the stock bushings and sleeve in the shift lever itself inside the car. This is the first time replacement bushings have been available for this purpose. They will help to further reduce slop in the shifter and make it more solid feeling during all shifting.

Here is a picture of the product;

and a link to our site where you can get them:

The best part is they are extremely inexpensive. We feel they are such an important part of the shifter that we wanted everyone to be able to enjoy them.

VERY IMPORTANT!!!
There are two versions of pivot bushings; wide and narrow. The bushings are the same, but the sleeve size is different. If you have an RS up to 01 or the SPT short shift kit you need the narrow version. Any Impreza after 02 with the standard shifter uses the wide version.
These will work in any 5spd subaru shifter however release in the last 10 years.
97-99 Legacy - Narrow
97-01 Impreza - Narrow
97-04 Forester - Narrow
02-06 Impreza - Wide
02-06 Impreza w/ SPT short shifter - NARROW
05+ Legacy - Wide
06+ Forester XT - Wide.

Enjoy!!!

SWEET, I've heard great things about your STI bushings. Thanks for looking out for the ole 5-speeders (actual speeding optional *groan*). Awesome price, I will be picking up a set of these for sure. :)

Be on the look out for our retrofit kit as well that will allow 5spd users a way to replace their linkage bushings (similar to sti) without new and improved modelse to even further reduce the play in the shifter.

I'm guessing they will, but I have to ask: Do these fit into a KB short shifter?

They most definitely do. Any 5spd shifter after 97 (and even some before) they will fit into.
