my 06sti is on it's way and just weeks away and i'm looking into em right off the bat as i didn't have it in my wrx i'd like to have it on the new car, so here's my question, the car will be stg2 after breakin and probably stay there for quite awhile, should i save a few hundred bucks and get a ap or send off my ecu for a reflash from pdxtuning??

Or get an AP, and maps from PDXTuning that are better then Cobb's default maps.

i wasn't aware that i could do that, i see they have it listed for $800 @ pdx, but only $650 @ cobb, whats up with that?

$850 is the core charge for the Ecutek considering what mods you have already installed thats most likely what your ecutek first flash will have to be.

Ive 2 Ecus one is my stocker the second was stage one Ecutek before i mailed it to Pdx for a stage two flash cost me$150 bucks.
Their $150 ap flash cost the same as all other Ecu managements reflash even for a off-the-shelf tunes..

I dunno about anywhere elses prices i never asked. :)
