Hello Everyone,

I am new here. My name is Byron. I live in Greenville SC.

Mods - slotted rotors, swaybars/endlinks, hawk pads, intercooler hoses, turbo inlett hose, colder iridium plugs, oil pressue/temp and boost gauges.

Next step is Cobb stage one. I wanted to see if anyone is running the cobb stage one or two. I would like to know the good and bad sides of the experiance before I take the plung.

In addition, I am interested in any drives that are to be held in my area. I am new on NASIOC, but have been aggresively driving WRX's in the NC mountains since mid 2002 and am a NASA rally attende and volunteer. There is no place like the drivers seat!

Thanks for your help!

I would recommend doing a search I believe this has been covered before.

Well, you could just search for the engine management threads or go to the wagon threads or go to the newb threads or go to the..........................
Or i could just tell you that it would useless to waste all that time reading and just go buy the ap.
Other than the v1 it is the best mod $ for $ for your wagon. It takes a week to learn you, but after that have fun.
Its worth it.

Wagon Blues,

Thanks for the reply! A few questions!

How long have you been running the cobb reflash? Is it really that noticable of a difference? Are you any where close to greenville SC?

Difference is completely noticable in the power band. It feels as if the turbo is now more refined and less rough. My mpg hasn't changed much and I have been running it for almost four months. I know that isn't long time , but the mileage for those months is almost 8ooo miles. I decide to get mine after i got smoked by a srt4  . Later found out he was doping, but now i have it and love it. You may need a tune because of the aftermarket parts, but whatever you do, follow the directions to the tee. Don't be a dude and wing it. You wont be happy. I have heard of people not following the directions and horrible things happening. I am nowhere near you btw. I live in Florida and moving to Alabama.
I think.
Cobb Ap is great for you and your car.
