Couple questions about this.

1. If you are behind the headlight holding it up, which direction do you turn the white knob to raise the light?

2. Can you visually see the bulb move or just the light beam it's self?

3.Is the best way to do it a 8mm open socket wrench, because I have been trying to turn it using pliers and im not having any luck

4. Is it possible for the adjusting mechanisim to be broken, and if so am I screwed?

Thanks, I have been looking for these answers without much luck.

1.) just try it out, I forget which way it is. :lol:

2.) You can see the beam moving up or down depending on which way you are taking it. Make sure you are doing the vertical adj, and not the horizontal adj. The vertical adj (at least on the 2.5 RS) is the lower bolt. The horizontal adj. is the top one with the cap on it.

3.) I would strongly recommend getting a socketed wrench and using that, trust me, it will be worth the money. Get one at any auto parts store.

4.) I have had the mechanisim broken before and I had to purchase a new light housing. if you know for sure its broken I would suggest putting the light in the oven and opening the light up and trying to fix it.

Thanks, I think I got it figured out, takes alot more twisting then I had originally imagined.
