OK, First the reason, then the rules.

1. JC Sports has bilked many on this board out of THOUSANDS of dollars. There is a fair mixture of money and product thus far unresolved.

2. Some of you are considering legal action against JC Sports individualy or maybe as a group.

3. This thread was something that has been discussed with IMPREZER and FISHGUY and cleared through them. The reason for this thread is to be two fold.

A. Each person that has product or money due from JC Sports or if you have been defrauded by them in another way should post there account of what happened and how much money or what items are due. This will come in handy as a tool for those seeking legal council for themselves and perhaps a lawyer will be interested in pursuing this as a group action against JC Sports.

B. To discuss legal strategy or exchange legal information.

What this thread is NOT for. The Rules:

No ATTACKING or DEFENDING JCS. This is to be a who what when where why business.

No Attacking or defaiming posters.

In short if it isn't a post about what they owe you or what you are doing about it, or a way to help others it does not belong. Imprezer and Fishguy are very serious about this and I am very certain any posts outside the intent of this thread will be tossed and repricussions will follow.

Why is this thread here? Because there are allot of club members that are out allot of money because of these crooks. There is individual discussion of action but no focused group action. So please, even if you don't plan to act, tell your story so that others may make use of it in thier case. And if you are contemplating action, print out this thread and offer it to your lawyer and perhaps he will see a path to help others or maybe a group action.

To IClub Lawyers. There are a few here. See what you can do for your fellow iClubbers!

At the tail end of the JCS group buy, I sent JCS a money order for 135.00 for the RRFPR unit as an add in for the turbo kit. As my kit was shipping though ISR they were paying JCS upon the delivery of the items. JCS contacted ISR claiming that the items had been delivered to include the RRFPR and that the unit had not been paid for. Just days before JCS and I had spoken on the phone and they confirmed that my RRFPR payment had been recieved. I informed ISR and JC Sports that the RRFPR had been paid for twice and that ISR or myself was due a refund for their payment for the RRFPR. JCS refused to respond to the issue and they were contacted by myself and ISR. They sent no refund to ISR or myself and therefor owe 135.00 to either myself or to ISR. They recieved knowingly, via fraud, payment for the same item twice.

Nearly one year after ponying up a $1K deposit for the JCS turbo kit, and being told just last week that the kit should be out before the end of the month(I know-no bashing!), I have neither a turbo kit or my $1K!

My friend just signed up and cant' quite post yet so I'll do this for him.

My friend C.Murphy ordered a garret Turbo kit from them 4 months ago with the electronics package(I.E. Turbo timer and Boost controller with actuator), and was stiffed quite hard for $3964.85 via money order!(I know I repremanded him already.) However he does have all receipts and fax's E-mails and misc. documentation for all of this so he might be ok.
He just wants his money back (or heck even the kit). so if you need any more info from him please for the meantime E-mail me at
LANLord510@hotmail.com and I will continue to respond for the time being. Thank You very very much piper cub from my Friend and especially myself cause this is what comarodery(spelling?) is all about and you have shown more heart than any. Also thank You moderators very very much!:alien:

$350 to drop the tranny to fix the oil leak that started right after JCS installed my new shortblock. They'll blame it on the guy who rebuilt the shortblock, so I wont do anything about this...

EDITING this after doing more research - John told me he thought the baffle plate seal looked flakey, but didn't do anything about it since they didn't seal the motor because someone at Heuberger Motors did. So, while it leaked as he expected, it wasn't JCS or Joel Cox's fault.

Joel Cox, especially, had nothing to do with the leak and has been a good machinist and mechanic. All he did was move the heads over to the new shortblock after o-rininging the block. Which is so far holding 12 psi boost daily without a head gasket leak!

Any of the wrong sized bolts and stripped threads we found were not Joel's fault either, since John assembled the motor  John says the motor was in bad shape when I brought it to them from Jimmy at Heuberger and he didn't strip anything. So, I have no evidence it was John who messed up anything either and retract my original statement.

It still cost me $350 to fix at SubySports :(

I also have been searching for an answer to where my money is. I paid $499 for a 2.5 inch exhaust that I never recieved. I only recieved the midpipe and that is it. THat is not worth $499. I am very interested in seeking my case to be stated with who ever everyone else is going with. Please keep me informed of any changes! This is fraud fellas.
Jim
Does anyone have a contact number for ANYONE out there at JCS? (other than the now DISCONNECTED line at the store?)

i dont come into the forum often, so i just saw this...

i ordered on LITTLE bunny silver bunny badge in NOVEMBER of 00

after three months i cancelled the order, but i was still charged the money...after another 3 months i still hadnt recieved my money, so i called, the guy there said he would refund my card...another two months went by and i still had not gotten my refund..i called 16 times in one week...and finally talked to kevin? keith?..he said it would be sent out THAT DAY...its now a year...and no refund yet...

its just one bunny badge....i dont even care anymore, i mean getting the money back would be GREAT, but it doesnt look like i can pull up any sort of legal case for a bunny badge...but i thought i should post anyways

::edit:: its been so long since i did this transaction that i dont even remeber exactly how much i paid for it...i beleive it was 39-45 dollars with s&h....and since their webiste is 'under construction' i cant check..
