hey guys, does anyone on here wakeboard or waterski? if so, where at?

this will be my first summer in utah, and i used to wakeboard a lot in the summer time. hopefully some people on here ride. :)

I wakeboard some, usually just go up with friends a few times a summer.

I stay to PineView most of the time though.

For day trips, I spend alot of time at Jordanelle. It's clean, new, but's it's also busy and the water is cold. Try to go on mid to late week days. For overnighters, LAKE POWELL BABY! That place is my personal heaven. Here's my day at Powell:

-5:00 pm drink and dance
-1:00 am stare at the stars and create wild philosophies with friends and family
-3:00 am pass out
-6:00 am wake up and ski
-8:00 am sleep
-1:00 pm eat
-Repeat

I just keep doing that and life is literally perfect for a week. :D

danny, have you ever heard of inland surfing? its the bomb. u'd probably dig it

Greg, are you talking windsurfing? I tried it once up at Pineview with a friend of mine. That gear is pricy.

its different than windsurfing.

this is done behind a wakeboard boat. you put ~600 lbs on one side of the boat and ~300 on the other side. you have a rope that extends 15 ft behind the boat, and the boat goes 13-15 mph. once you learn where the curl is and you can ride it, you throw the rope in. i've surfed for 10 mintues without the rope. its cool. i'll find some pics. :)

i hate water. I cant swim

all yous guys need to try wakeskating (wakeboarding - bindings + skateboarding tricks) and wakesurfing
