How often should you get your ECU flashed? After every mod you install or after a few? I have added some but have never flashed my ecu. Should I go ahead and find some place in the area to do it.

it all depends on the set up, and what mad your adding.... you can usually get away with an exhaust and intake, but go fmic, big turbo, exhaust cut out, and s*** hits the fan. You should find an experienced tuner in your area and talk to them about it...

theres nothing really there that the stock ecu shouldn't be able to tune for..... i think you would be ok just cause the stock ecu is pig rich to start with.... if you get any blicking CEL's while under boost then you should probably get to a tuner but otherwise I'm sure its drivable. do you plan on modding anymore?

I am not sure at this point. I have a company car that I drive daily and over the last year put just over 5K miles on my WRX. Not sure it is worth investing anymore since it is rarely driven. If you have some suggestions I would be interested to hear them.

i wish i had your situation, i would mod the hell out of it.....wrx has alot of potential, its all about what you want from it.... i know since my car is daily driven (~20k per year) i need a reliable race car lol

I guess I was looking at some web sites and I was thinking of buying new headers, injectors, fuel pump, brakes, and maybe a turbo. What is the most power you can get out of the stock turbo?

the highest whp with w.i. is like 260 from what i've seen, the turbo is really undersized. to get anything more your going to need to do a turbo upgrade.... what whp are you looking for?

This depends solely on the modifications you have done. Some modifications you can get away with where as other modifications you can not without getting your ECU reprogrammed.
