I was sitting at king tuts with my friends. Were outside and i parked 3 ft from my car and all of a sudden a loud crash and my alarm going off. 2 of my friends jumped up and i saw my car scooted over and still shaking. The ******* in his 05 altima takes off. Well i dont know if youve been to king tuts but its kinda a u shape so we knew where he was going. Matthew and camron and other witnesses ran to the other side and got in front of him. he stopped and said o did i hit him? WOW!!!! So then he gave me all his info and i was like can i just see it so i can verify. He put down wrong insurance name and number. And wouldnt give me his licence till my friends came over and backed me up. I need atleast a new fender and a allignment but will check for more damage in the daylight, but she will survive. He says he want to pay cash what should i do? Im thinking ill still call his insurance so he dosnt **** me

did you file a police report? if not, cash is your only option i believe. did you at least call your insurance?? it seems like he doesn't want his insurance to go up, so he would rather pay out of pocket for it. heres a question for you, was he drunk? hit and run sucks!! fools like that shouldn't be driving

Sounds like the guy hit your car - STRIKE 1, tried to drive off - STRIKE 2, and then tried to provide fake info - STRIKE 3.

Without a police report - calling his insurance can't help. Whats to say I can't just call YOUR insurance to say you hit me - even if we never crossed paths?

I would recommend calling the non-emergency number for your local police and ask them or advice on how to proceed.

This sounds like something where you trusted someone untrustworthy - who will AGAIN try to bail on you. Sounds like you have his address, and that can only lead to you trying to pay a visit after he bails, or potentially getting yourself into trouble.

Maybe the police can send someone out to see the damage and collect and confirm your evidence as they would at the scene of the accident. I'm sure it will help to have your witnesses present if an officer comes by.

I would have kicked the **** out of him, He needs to learn a lesson. contact your insurance and let them handle it. There could be damage you cant see. He may not even have insurance or not even gave you the right info. people never up date the drivers lic.

I would have called the cops out last night. You might end up getting the bill. I am sure you have enough people that saw what happen to file a claim. Call the police to ask for help. tell them everthing that happen. call your insurance tell them as well.

IF you hadn't happen to be outside, your insurance company would have had to pay for it, keep that in mind.

If anyone calss anyone's insuirance company, then it will be out of your hands, your rates will go up and so will his, or at least it will be on your histories.

Are you sure you have his actual info? You might have to use his plate to find out his ionfo.

Goto a bodyshop and get a complete estimate, if the guy wants to pay cash in hte amount of the estimate, bring him the estimate or let him call the shop and GET THE MONEY UP FRONT!

Did you take pictures of the crime scene? do that and takes pitcures of the debris on hte ground and the driveway, so it is apparent how this guy hit you.

WRITE DOWN EVERY SINGLE DETAIL!!! the time, the lacation, what the guy looked like, what color the car is, where his car was damaged, so on and so on. WRITE THIS ALL DOWN NOW, you will forget as time passes and so wil your friends.

You need to call the guy today and get something going, if you can;t get a hold of him, consider calling the cops and filing a "Hit and run" report before it's TOO LATE!
