when 'they' say "may not be installed by Subaru dealers or anyone else other than the end user."*

do 'they' really mean nobody but me? or any other shop can install as long as you don't ask the dealer to do it?

it was refering to the sti suspension and the exhaust.
I already have a cat-back, but I am eyeing the sti suspension.

thats odd, why would a dealership not install what they sell, especially if it is an STi product.

The dealership that I bought my car at told me that they could not do any "performance modifications" for me.... but the sales guy said he could point me to someone in town that could. I could buy the STi exhaust through him.. and have someone else put it on.

As for why... I don't know either.. but at least it can get done.
