I mod my car to make it handle better and go faster. I am not looking for a show piece, although I do appreciate a nice looking and well thought-out ride. I personally do not care for over-weight show cars buried under stereo equipment or cars that will fold up when they hit the next pothole (or just high center on the speed bump before it

No, my point is more of not wasting one's time with worrying over knock-offs, when you
know you have the real deal, and it will be appreciated by those who are in the know. I leave worrying over cheap copies to those that have money on the line (copyright and patent owners, trademark holders, etc.).
