i'd want a small fmic so i wouldn't have to buy a new hood(no scoop on the 03) and a side mount would be cool but i don't think it's ever been done on an impreza and i don't feel like having to fabricate some major custom stuff... i'd want an intercooler just to make sure i wouldn't get heat soak if the wastegate decided not to open until 6 or 7 psi... i'd want to be prepared for the worst.

do many 40 trim T3 turbo's come with internal wastegates? or would i be getting an external wastegate(seems like for so little boost an internal one would be advantageous)? i'm assuming at 4 psi you could just set the wastegate pretty low and never have to worry about creep or spikage...

i guess what i'm asking here is:

would a higher flowing fuel pump, wrx injectors, and a perfect power PECM be enough to run reliable 4psi(given my 03 SOHC EJ25)?


or would i need to spend 1300+ on ecm just to get anything running reliably? also, do they even make standalone units for the SOHC ej25?
