Of course, I hate to be the cynic, but how this engine / car does seems to depend on how greased the wheels are...
If Audi did a good job greasing the wheels, they'll be "allowed" to dominate. If Audi didn't, then if they do well initially, they'll be toned down because of the unfair advantage their power curve gives them. I can see other teams complaining and getting their way.
Ahh... race politics...
