Just out of curiosity, why are you swapping to a *slightly larger* TMIC? Any particular reason? Are you just looking for some slightly increased cooling headroom? What are your power goals? Will the car be tracked at all? For example, I try to track my car as often as possible, so ANY TMIC wasn't enough for me, I ran into constant heat-soak problems after just a few laps. Moving the IC out of the hot engine bay really seemed to help keep intake temps cooler, longer.
Now if you don't track the car, but plan to upgrade teh powAr, I might look into something larger than any of the OEM TMIC's.
But if you're just going to keep things pretty close to what they are now, you should be fine for daily driving and autocrossing.
