I specifically do not want R compounds at this time. (I should have been clearer on that in my first post.) I'm still not skilled enough on the track to not quickly destroy a R compound tire by just pushing the snot out of it in the corners. Javid is correct in his guess that I'm really looking for tires that are more along Street Touring autoX class tires such as the Kumho MX and Toyo Proxes T1R. Ideally any tire choice would be for both wet and dry but chances are 98% of any track days I go to would be dry. Also to clearify these will become track only tires and will see no street use.
