im not gonna build a franken motor this year, but would like to arm myself with some info. this is FI frankenstein territory, which i never contemplated initially(except ej257 block with 2.5 na heads). but i'd like to know if possible what kind of flow the v4 heads have compared to anything else if you have some reference handy. and crank/block options for strokers. i've seen plenty of 2.5 blocks with 2.2 heads/1.8heads(n/a of course), and reverse for FI.and this block with that crank and these rods, blah, blah! but what are the options for this specific block. i'm unsure of the bearing type in the bottom end, and if the crank is essentially the same stroke as the usdm wrx(just better?)? id like to know more about my new engine before i blow it up and have to rebuild superfast with zero options in mind. if there are similar(v2-5) hybrids you've heard of or have built with success i'd love to hear it! -heff
