First time poster in this forum. I have a 95 Legacy LS wagon to start and have a problem I am trying to figure out. I've done some searches here and elsewhere and thought I would throw this ou there. To begin, my car has an aftermarket remote door opener and car starter. I had all four doors replaced from a newer model legacy due to rust damage on all of them. The body guy was unable to repair the door control mechanism however.
I believe the original 95 door had an actuator installed in it to push pull the lock rods and was also able to unlock all doors and trunk. Sincs the installation of the new doors, the harnesses seem to not be the same on the drivers side door. I believe there IS an actuator in the new door that wasn't in the original door. To make matters worse, my key does not unlock the drivers side or trunk key lock (seized??) Trunk is original and the lock cylinders were replaced on both front doors.
Does anyone have wiring diagrams of the 95 legacy. I have from more recent years and from 94 back, but since I read recently that it had no actuator in the door from factory I'm wondering how it would unlock all other doors from drivers side door. Wiring harness from mine has a Red with Green and Light Green wire going from new door actuator on pins 21 and 24 of the harness, but are not same colour on chassis side. This is only on the drivers side. Passenger harness has same colours going to like colours on chassis side. If I had old diagram I would probably be able to figure it out. It's been frustrating to say the least...any insight would be a help...but considering it's a frankenstein job of new doors on an older chassis, it makes it a little harder.
