The Chicagoland area dealerships generally are a PITA to deal with. Every deal involves a series of back and forths with add-ons that don't make sense ( co-op advertising, doc fees, dealer prep, adp-added dealer profit, etc.).
Subtracting the cost of the airline ticket, I still came out over $2000 better than buying here! In addition, the way I was treated was closer to my Audi S4 buying experience- no hassle, respect, appreciation for buying there.
I made a vow 20 years ago that I would no longer own boring and unexciting cars. Now, at the ripe old age of 46, I will never buy a vehicle from a dealership that mistreats me.
