I would have sold car here, get cash and buy something that you will never get in US.
Alfa Romeo, Peugeot, Seat, euro Ford or Opel(GM).

If you are going with military I think that fuel is not a problem but if not then think about diesel. I bet that you want to travel far.

PS $25000 will not get you as much car in Europe as in USA. Would you have to pay all taxes?
