Lol, probably not
I'm learning the STI, on my bike, different story
So your STi is completely stock? That's encouraging, to me, except for the tire news. I can't really afford to kill tires in one track day, as much fun as it would be. I guess I'll have to get some summers mounted up and just take it easy...
Bone stock except for Happi Motoring Fender Braces and some home-made screens over the lower fascia opening & I/C to keep rocks out of the cooling fins.
Tires: I was running the stock RE070s, which are only 10k mi tires at best, and I wasn't driving with a tire-friendly style. If you ran at 8/10 and don't drive like me with a ham-fist and heavy brake you'll be fine.
The track is tight, but a smoother driver than me would have much more tire left, and far less wear than what I did to mine.
You could always check the classifieds here and/or eBay and try to pick up a cheap set.
I got some 3k mi take-offs for less than $400 for the set of 4, and I can get probably 3-5 track days out of them even with my driving style (which sucks).
I'll update the main thread, since the next available days are out--April 18th
(Open Track) and May 5th (*trying* to get 10 to reserve full track for NASIOCers).
