The Outback height comes from two things for sure: taller tires (205/70R15 stock) and struts that have high spring perches (the spring sits higher on the strut). I don't know if the springs are actually different. If anybody does know, I would love to hear about it since I am still deciding whether to do springs and struts or just struts.
