I personally wouldnt go to those lengths for 300-350whp goal. Built heads are not cheap and pretty unnecessary for your goals. Id just get stock sti cams if anything and save the money.
Yeah I'd like to get a feel before I have the car back, and this area really doesn't get all that much traffic. Anyways, my WRX heads need to be rebuilt, and my ECU won't handle AVCS, so it's one or the other. AVCS will require standalone or a painstaking ECU swap, or it can just get ECUTeked if I do the headwork on my WRX heads. Option 2 sounds better to me, but option 1 will give me more area under the curve.
