Sorry I'm late. I'm just getting back on here for the first time since yesterday. The install wasn't really a problem, like Cajual said. The instructions were a little vague, but I don't remember having a problem with the hoses being short. My biggest hassle was removing the brackets that held the second airbox (up by the manifold). I removed the bolts down on the gearbox casing, and had to get them from underneath the car. The passenger side was a little hard to reach, and was real tight. I broke my ratchet on that one, but it was due anyway.
Good luck with your search. I was waiting for RalliSpec to make one (they had in the past, but said there wasn't enough demand to produce them anymore), or Cobb Tuning to come up with one for us. But with the WRX here now, everyone seems to be putting all their effort into that car.
I can't say that I've noticed any loss of low-end torque. Maybe I need my butt-dyno calibrated
. I hate to sound r*i*c*e, but it sure is purty, even if it doesn't really do anything for performance.
