Thought I'd post this here in case anyone has a similiar experience...

I've been running the GM solenoid for a while. I started running it with an internally gated TD06H/20G, and now, I'm running it with an externally gated SZ55.

My problem:
With the SZ55, boost violently wavers as soon as the gate opens. I know I'm not getting compressor surge since I can clamp the wastegate closed and run boost up to 25psi solidly...

In an attempt to fix the problem, I moved to smaller vacuum lines between the compressor, solenoid, and wastegate; and I have a restrictor in line between the compressor and solenoid. It helped when I was only running 19-20psi, but the problem came back as soon as I started tuning for AI @ 24psi.

At this point, I'm actually looking at moving to a manual boost controller. Before I do that, though, I was wondering if anyone had any other potential fixes. I use a UTEC and boost gain is set to 72 (I've tried values from 50-72 moving up in increments), and my 90% and 100% boost control columns are the same value (325) from 700RPM - 7500RPM.
