Default Jdm2005 speedo Cluster Fitment Problem To 2002 Wrx Bug Eye

My First Post, so be kind please.

Hi,

Sorry to bother you, but I have just tried to fit the new style light cluster (import clocks JDM sti 2005) to my 2002 bugeye (import wrx from Cyprus) and have the following faults. Also these are the new new type cluster with the lexus type sweeping needles on start up. Our current 2006 model clocks in UK.

Have now got the ABS and handbrake warning light stuck on. (think these are linked)

Also a high pitched siren sound from back of clocks like the lights have been left on. (siren fitted to back of clocks may have something to do with the factory immobilizer on new type impreza's? ) Mine does not have any factory immobilzer or alarm as standard.

Rear Temp diff light on but as mine is not an electronic diff I am not worried about the light.

Just wondered if anyone knew which wires are crossed on the ABS side of the cluster and if the ABS is now not working or is it a false warning light. Handbrake light stuck on also a pain.

Everything else works perfectly and they look fantastic when all light up, but I am so near but so far. The needles all swing and it all lights up. All dials work, rev lght, fuel gauge, etc etc.

Had to slightly mod one of the connectors as mine had one less row of pins but this only operates the temp/fuel gauge side and I think have nothing to do with the problem. When left disconnected, faults are still there.

My standard clocks have the speedo on the right with the tacho in the middle. The new 2005 model clocks are the same except for the STI illumination in the rev counter in the middle as mine just a WRX.

Thanks for any help.
