Generalized suction noises are from the turbo.... you should hear a regular sucking sound, plus a high pitched whistle. There are resonance frequencies that cause constructive interference that were cancelled out by the factory intake box. Im not sure exactly what you mean by belching, but if it happens upon releasing the throttle its your recirculating bypass valve which should sound like a pressure release of sorts. On partial throttle there should be a fluttering sound that you will hear much more so if you have an up or downpipe... but its basically a real quick ffthhhh ftthhh fffthh fftthh (10x fast) which is your wastegate flapper of the turbo.
