I have used Valvoline 5W30 Durablend in all of my cars for the past 15 or so years. Never had a problem, and I, being of the old school, change the "break in oil", at 1,000 miles, then go to the half synthetic half regular oil route.
I also change the oil every 4,000 miles. What do you think of going 7,500 miles, as per the owners manual. Good idea or not?
I would appreciate any feed back.
Thanks.
Keep it under 90, folks.
P.S. I am picking up a new Tribeca on Tuesday, those of you who know of me from the Baja Forum, now you know why.
