Hazardous Weather Outlook for November 30, 2006

A strong cold front will interact with a powerful jet stream Friday. Very gusty winds will develop along and behind the cold front.

The front is expect to enter western PA around midday and work its way across the state through the evening hours

Sever thunder storms can be expected along the edge of the front with the possibility of some tornado activity.

The storms have the potential to dump anywhere from a half to one inch of rain in short period of time causing some flash flooding.

The winds with this front can be expected to be 20 to 35 mph with gust reaching as high 50 to 70 mph in some areas

The most intense winds are expected with sever thunderstorms.

Winds will remain gusty as polar air pours in Friday night
I hope this clears by Sunday
