Well, just to be fair to Porsche...

engine - Cayman S currently has a 3.4 litre engine that the Boxster S won't get until this year, so currently they are different. That engine shares a bit in common with the 911's, with variable valve timing, etc.
trans - yeah, i'm pretty sure thats right. the gear ratios in first and second are shorter, if i remember correctly.
suspension - of course, cayman's is tuned more aggressively (stiffer body). wheels are different
dimensions - can't argue with that!

After this year, they will be the same, but I really like both and I'm glad both of them got on there.
