I don't understand all the hate.

I would pimp the **** out of the WRX hatchback. I can't wait to see what the STi will look like.

Cars like the Mazda 3 (and MazdaSpeed 3) can and will eat the Impreza's lunch. They are leagues nicer on the inside, faster, and cheaper. The MS6 competes _very_ strongly with the Legacy - it's much nicer inside and thousands less. Subaru needed to improve the interior and make the exterior appeal to a broader market to compete.
