I ordered my Omori's form Michael Pang in Malaysia. Received my three 45mm gauges (mechanical boost, electrical EGT, electrical oil temp) and all the fittings I could ever need. There were no problems other than the long wait for the shipment. I received everything in good condition and with extra fittings for oil temp, since I wasn't sure where I would install it.
The installation went off without a hitch. Boost gauge is tapped off the BOV signal line. EGT is tapped off the driver's side manifold where all 4 runners meet, a little farther out than most. For oil temp, I used a sandwich plate bored out to allow full oil flow. The oil temp sensor is mounted in one of 3/8NPT ports in the sandwich plate. Gauge power is taken from the clock harness.
The only complaint I have is that each gauge has a dim spot where the lighting is dimmer than the rest of the gauge. Does anyone else experience this problem? Is there a way to solve it?
