I drive 5 miles each way to mass transit. I usually leave my house just in time so my warm-up is about 10 seconds (unless I'm scraping snow/ice in the winter). Easy driving until the engine is warm. The last five minutes is 50-60 mph with some lights and I usually hit 5 or 6k rpm's. At least once a week I drive to some twisties for fun (low speed, high rpm's).
Summer is trips to the beach, vacations to SC, light off-roading and general "enthusiastic" driving. No track or auto-x, except for the NJ Turnpike. Engine all stock. Enough details?
I'm thinking of sending this to Dyson to see what he says about the Fe and Si. I'll probably go with GC again (because of price) but Elf Excellium 0W30 has me curious. It's ACEA A3 rated and an n/a OB owner on bitog is getting 33 mpg's with it. Expensive though.
