my wrx had some hidious alteza tail lights on it when i bought it so i got some closer to stock looking tail lights. they have two LED clusters for brake lights. heres my problem, its not very clear to me exactly what goes where. the leds have a plug that fits into the stock socket, shaped just like the plugin side of the stock bulb, if that makes sense... if i need to put pics on here of the old tail lighs and the new tail lights i can do that. because this is america i bet someone else on this forum has ran into this before. here is a rough outline of what i a looking at.
old tail light wiring.
three sockets, one reverse, one brake, one turn signal
reverse has two wires to the socket
brake has three wires to the socket
turn signal has two wires to the socket
and two extra wires for the side turn signals
new tail light wiring
there are three plugins, two LED brakelight plugs, one other plug coming from talilights.
two LED clusters with one plug each that has four wires going to them
one plug coming from the LEDs with two wires
and two open sockets in the tailights where the reverse light sockets to lock into.
i know this probably wont make much sense but hopefuly someone has ran into this before. i will probably go take some pics now cause i know that would help.
