To the OP, if you could change the lines in such short time, why didn't you do it yourself? $85 an hour isn't unreasonable, and this isn't flat-rate-dealership work. This is work that (for the most part) only specialty shops will do. It probably really did take them that much time, but if you thought otherwise you should have spoken up while you were there.
$85 / hour is completely reasonable, 4.75 hours to do it is not reasonable. Thats the point.

edit: Good to hear the company did the right thing to make the customer happy and keep a good reutation. Awesome
