Don't get discouraged. I have had some problems with mine with the random leaks and constant monitoring of the whole system but it is worth it. What you might try doing is going somewhere that is known to be great at tuning subarus and see if they can smooth things out for you. Also you might want to check your suspension for the "shakes" could be the clutch though. I don't know without a more accurate explanation. The heads on the wrx are really limited by the cams however they do improve the spooling time of some turbos over the STi cams. I see full boost on my VF-39 a little earlier than a stage II STi. If done right then the hybrid can be really fun and it can teach you a lot about cars in general.
