AWD is weak from a roll.. FWD DSMs have way better top end then AWD DSMs specially over 100 MPH. It makes perfect since to me.. Plus the small turbo in the WRX drops boost in high RPMs where the car mostly is at in those higher speeds... Just get a biiger turbo and it'll help your top end a lot. But on two cars that make the same power FWD is always going to kill a AWD from a roll. Plus you AWD 5spd people here have it easy.. Me with my automatic have an aditional 5% loss to the wheels that puts me at arond %30 loss to the wheels
.. Some FWD only loose 12%. It's a painful thoght.. But it's what we give up for traction.
