Why go RS ecu?
Why not do a WRX/STi ecu (non drive by wire for ease of transition if you wish, although it's not much more work) and have a turbo-ready ecu/sensors etc off the bat?

Yah I suppose that would be an issue but you can find cheap WRX heads off a parted motor for pretty cheap!
I'm not pulling my motor again, tearing it down, rebuilding a new one, and doing an engine swap just to use a WRX ECU.
I'm what you call a stage 4 turbocharged vehicle using a hybrid motor. I want the 05 ECU so I can datalog and do open source tuning, since there is a local guy who's an OS guru.
