Just ask for a written explanation why they are denying you warranty coverage, signed by the service tech and general manager. If you get that, I'd be surprised. Otherwise, if they can't explain it to you in writing, how can they deny warranty coverage. The law states the dealer must prove the aftermarket part caused the defect. Ask for this proof.
