Well just switching the cv boot doesnt do anything but i guess you could switch the whole inside side of the cv to get the female instead of male. I definitely wouldnt do that though even if it is possible. Why don't you want to take out the stubs? The male axles are "better", they switched to them for a reason. I really dont think its that big of a deal to take the stub out and it would be the easiest way in the end.
i think i got mixed up but you understood what i was saying. and with removing the stub from the tranny, i have read in numerous places where people have had problems with taking the stubs out of the tranny and the retainer position being all fubared. is it really that easy just to pop out the stubs and insert the new correct seals and axles?
