the easiest thing to do is to take the stubs out with female axles but since you dont have those i think the next best thing is to put a screwdriver through the pin hole of the stub and use a prybar on that. i used a prybar on my male axles to get them out of my tranny and i have had the experience of changing out axle seals and i have installed stubs with no problems, but i have not had to remove a stub. I have heard that it isnt easy but i dont see why it would be that much harder or any different from taking out a male axle...they both have the same circlips. I can only wish you the best of luck...i personally wouldnt find it necessary to take it to a shop especially if your installing the tranny yourself, but whatever makes you comfortable. Let me know how it goes
