Lotsa interesting stuff here, thanks for posting. I've just recently started researching this stuff, but my thought is to go back to the GC -- seems like your chromium, iron and copper levels were better. Def interesting to see the final viscosity for all those 30-wt oils, which really shows the stability of the GC (and that all 30 wt oils are NOT created equal).

That Redline UOA Bluesubie referenced is mine, and I'm running Pennzoil 5w30 now, so we'll have another point of comparison when I do my change (though I might use some of that EngineRx cleaner starting with this change -- I guess I can pull a sample before-hand). My iron levels were similar -- will be interesting to see how mine change. But of course I've got the higher lead levels which seem to be typical with the Redline.

OEM oil filter results were similar to mine, which is to say very good. And I'll also throw in there the silicon levels with the OEM filter are the same as with my 5-year-old K&N....
