That Redline UOA Bluesubie referenced is mine, and I'm running Pennzoil 5w30 now, so we'll have another point of comparison when I do my change ...
You would think those conventionals would stay in grade for at least
3,000 miles, but not so. I wonder if PP 10W30 would have performed any better?
I wouldn't feel comfortable running PP 5W30 in summer or at the track (in both of your applications), unless it was a short oci. I'm scared of energy conserving oils.
At least the PP stayed in grade.
