i've done it too.
i took out the denter diff, and took it to a local machine shop they made me a mini drive shaft that fit where the c diff was. it connected the tranny output shaft to the rear output shaft, and left the front shaft to free spin. it worked well, made the car rear wheel drive. i had a conversation with trey, and found out we did this at about the same time. however he had enough sence to have his peice properly hardened. one solid turbo charged shift into second saw the end of my rear wheel drive peice.
